$100 to QTBIPOC Sound Artists&/Engineers!
Due to the pandemic we are unable to carry out our 2020 Summer programming funded by the Velocity Fund Grant so we decided to redistribute it among QTBIPOC sound artists and engineers. In recognition of the collective trauma we are experiencing (some more than others) we do not believe it is fair to ask anyone to produce anything. We just want to give creators money for having the passion to do what they do.
SMC creates a platform for women, trans and non-binary sound artists,engineers and teachers. Within this we need to make even more space for QTBIPOC. Below, are the amazing creators who will receive $100 from our Artist Stipend portion of our grant budget.
